Jena (Germany) and O'Fallon, MO -- The Laser and Materials Processing division of Jenoptik has expanded its current distribution agreement with RPMC Lasers, Inc. In addition to high-power laser diodes and semiconductor material, RPMC is now the exclusive partner for the solid-state laser product segment.

With this arrangement, the two companies will expand their cooperation, which began three years ago. In addition to high-power laser diodes and the semiconductor material for laser diodes, RPMC will now supply all lasers in the solid-state laser segment. RPMC will be the “exclusive distributor for North America“, for all Jenoptik supplied laser sources. Under this arrangement, Jenoptik shares the entire technology chain of laser sources – from standard products to custom-specific products – with users in the North American market.

Jenoptik's North American product offering includes unassembled laser diode bars and single emitters, laser diodes with or without collimation, vertical and horizontal laser diode stacks, fiber-coupled laser diodes and high-brightness modules. Under this new arrangement, diode-pumped thin-disk lasers, infrared lasers, femtosecond lasers, fiber lasers and high-power laser systems in pulsed or CW mode have now been added.
