UV laser from Lexel Laser switches between UV and multiple visible wavelengths

Sept. 27, 2017
The Quantum second-harmonic-generation ion laser produces continuous-wave deep UV at 229, 244, or 257 nm.

The Quantum second-harmonic-generation ion laser produces continuous-wave deep UV at 229, 244, or 257 nm, and can rapidly switch between UV and multiple visible wavelengths from 457 to 514 nm. The TEM00 UV output is virtually circular, enabling beam focusing down to 5 μm. It includes a touch-screen interface connected by USB.
