The Quantum second-harmonic-generation ion laser produces continuous-wave deep UV at 229, 244, or 257 nm, and can rapidly switch between UV and multiple visible wavelengths from 457 to 514 nm. The TEM₀₀ UV output is virtually circular, enabling beam focusing down to 5 μm. It includes a touch-screen interface connected by USB.
