Gain chips are modified Fabry-Perot laser diodes with an antireflective coating on the output, used in extended cavity diode laser setups. 

Gain chips are modified Fabry-Perot laser diodes with an antireflective coating on the output, used in extended cavity diode laser setups. Versions are available for 760 nm applications with 20 nm tuning range standard and extended tuning range available on request. They provide 100 mW gain over the entire range.
