Coherent fiber optic cables are available in lengths from 5 to 200 m

July 25, 2017
The RQB fiber optic cables have use with fiber lasers operating at continuous-wave power levels up to 1.5 kW, as well as pulsed lasers as high as 1 MW.

The RQB fiber optic cables have use with fiber lasers operating at continuous-wave power levels up to 1.5 kW, as well as pulsed lasers as high as 1 MW. Their quartz block technology enables use of antireflection coatings to reduce overall losses to under 3%. They are available with core diameters from 50 to 1000 μm, a 0.20 numerical aperture, and in lengths from 5 to 200 m. External water cooling extends the maximum power rating to 3 kW.
