Fiber pigtailed laser diodes have telecom use

May 23, 2024
Fiber pigtailed laser diodes offer stable outputs at wavelengths from 635 to 1550 nm.

Fiber pigtailed laser diodes offer stable outputs at wavelengths from 635 to 1550 nm. A 4- and 9-µm core diameter single-mode or 50-µm core diameter multimode optical fiber coupling are offered. With 1 m fiber included, FC or SMA connectors or unterminated fibers are termination options. Applications include telecommunications, medical equipment, sensors, and scientific analysis.
