    The BP 850-80 HT infrared (IR) filter is used in IR high-power LEDs at 850 nm, producing shadow-free IR illumination visible to many sensors, but invisible to the human eye. Applications include surveillance, industrial, and medical applications and in cameras for night images up to 20–30 m. The filter is available mounted in 1 or 2 mm thicknesses.
