A line of custom-fabricated sapphire lenses, windows, and domes protects all types of vision systems and sensors on drones that are exposed to harsh environments. Featuring Mohs 9 hardness and surface finishes from 60-40 to 40-20 scratch-dig, they are available in sizes from 1/4 to 10 in. diameter and 1/2 mm to 1 in. thick, with antireflection coatings available.
