Hollow retroreflectors are insensitive to tilt and rotation

Oct. 18, 2022
USHM (Ultra Stable Hard-mounted) hollow retroreflectors are self-compensating mirrors with a hard mount that are insensitive to position and movement.

USHM (Ultra Stable Hard-mounted) hollow retroreflectors are self-compensating mirrors with a hard mount that are insensitive to position and movement, such as tilt or rotation. Features include λ/10-λ/20 at 633 nm surface flatness, 80-50 scratch-dig, and 0.530.0 arcsec. beam deviation. They are suited for use in interferometers and in military and space applications.
