Variable attenuator

June 1, 1998
The OVA-20M and OVA-30M attenuators can be built into a variety of communications and measurement systems, including wavelength-division multiplexers.

Two miniature variable attenuators use neutral-density filters with temperature dependence of less than ۪.05 dB from 0°C to 65°C. The OVA-20M and OVA-30M attenuators can be built into a variety of communications and measurement systems, including wavelength-division multiplexers. The devices are 8 mm high and have typical insertion loss of less than 1.5 dB.
