Periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) with grating periods as short as 6 µm is available for use in quasi-phase-matching nonlinear optical processes. The PPLN devices are optically polished and AR-coated to customer specifications. Custom-designed gratings and poling are available for applications, including second-harmonic generation, difference-frequency generation, sum-frequency mixing, and optical parametric oscillation.
