Abbe appointed president, COO of OCLI

Optical Coating Laboratory Inc. (OCLI), based in Santa Rosa, CA, has appointed Charles J. (Jay) Abbe to the position of president and to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO). Former president Herbert Dwight Jr. will continue at OCLI in his other two posts as chairman and chief executive officer. As president, Abbe will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company. Dwight will concentrate on strategic aspects of the company's global business.
