Miniature goniometers

April 1, 1996
A family of miniature goniometers allows users to adjust the face angle of a mirror, prism, or other optical element around one or two axes. The two-axis units are set so that the points of rotation of both axes coincide. Ranges of adjustment are from 䔮°, 15°, and 20° with 0.05° sensitivity. A small knob can be turned by hand or wrench to rotate the positioner, and a lock maintains final position.
