The compact SA24C brushless dc-motor air-bearing polygon scanner operates bi-directionally in any orientation. The lightweight device features high-speed mirror rotation with tight tracking accuracy and uses no lubricants that can cloud optics. The long-life scanner is priced to be competitive with ball-bearing technology.
