VLOC will integrate with II-VI Optical Systems

II-VI Optical Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of II-VI Incorporated and vertically integrated producer of high-precision imaging and laser assemblies, announced that its sister company VLOC will become part of II-VI Optical Systems.

II-VI Optical Systems (Murrieta, CA), a wholly owned subsidiary of II-VI Incorporated (Nasdaq: IIVI; Saxonburg, PA) and vertically integrated producer of high-precision imaging and laser assemblies, announced that its sister company VLOC (New Port Richey, FL) will become part of II-VI Optical Systems.

Andrew Riser, II-VI Optical Systems' general manager, said, "The combination of VLOC's world class laser material knowledge and Florida-based growth facility, with the advanced engineering design, fabrication, coating, and assembly operations in California, enables us to design and deliver custom laser and nonlinear optical solutions to the Defense, Space, Medical, and Commercial industries. With materials, coatings, and experience covering the UV through Long Wave IR regime, only II-VI Optical Systems can cover the entire spectrum."

These expanded capabilities will be exhibited at the Photonics West show in San Francisco, February 10-12, 2015, in the II-VI Optical Systems Booth #2323.
