The Eagle V deep-cooled, vacuum-based CCD uses proprietary PentaVac vacuum technology.

The Eagle V deep-cooled, vacuum-based CCD uses proprietary PentaVac vacuum technology. It uses a 4 Mpixel CCD42-40 back-illuminated AIMO sensor with 13.5 × 13.5 micron pixels and a full well capacity of 100,000 e- for photon collection. It has use in high-resolution fluorescence imaging, adaptive optics, and astronomy applications.
