The GDS 100 and 101 glow discharge power supplies offer variac and manual control, respectively. They contain 2 kW power to drive standard aluminum glow rods for ionization bombardment of substrates prior to a range of vacuum coating processes. They may also be used to provide DC bias to substrates in sputter systems.
