WDM Solutions will host the 40-Gbit/s Forum July 8, 2001, at NFOEC in Baltimore, MD. The all-day event (8 am to 4 pm) will examine both the challenges and opportunities associated with taking optical networking technology to the next level--40-Gbit/S (OC-768) transmission speeds. The program will be aimed at business development managers, executives, and investors interested in implementing OC-768 technology. The agenda will include a lunch/networking opportunity, as well as exploring the market's potential. In addition, the presenters will provide an overview of required technologies from fiber to optical components and systems. Forum hosts include four PennWell magazines--WDM Solutions, Lightwave, Integrated Communications Design, and Laser Focus World--and KMI Corp.
