PRESS RELEASE

WaveSensor®
Wavefront Analysis with High Dynamic Range and Accuracy

The Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors made by TRIOPTICS measure the wavefront and lens shape of spherical and aspherical lenses in real time. High accuracy and a large dynamic range of up to 1500 λ allow the measurement of highly aspherical lenses.

The comprehensive software coming with WaveSensor® provides various ways of analyzing and displaying the wavefront data including among others real time Zernike analysis, MTF and PSF calculation. Data export and saving functions allow for the flexible utilization of measurement and analysis results. In addition, theoretical design data can be loaded and compared in real time during measurements. WaveSensor® communicates via CameraLink or Firewire B with the software.

Furthermore, the optional Reflex Module extends the applications of WaveSensor® to 3D topography measurement.
