Ideal for coating on quartz, BK-7, glass, and a wide variety of other optical materials, the reliable AR coatings improve performance in optical systems, increasing transmission and enhancing contrast. PG&O optical thin film coating capabilities include a chamber that can coat four, 24” diameter substrates.

PG&O provides anti-reflection coatings ranging from 250 nm to 2500 nm, including standard broadbands, V-Coatings, and double V-Coatings matched to a variety of substrates as well as single layer magnesium fluoride (MgF2). The standard broadband coatings are ideal for many research and industrial tasks and perform exceptionally well on all optical materials. AR coatings can be designed to accommodate custom operational wavelength(s) and angle requirements.

The company also houses an extensive glass inventory to provide high performance optical components for the most demanding medical and bioinstrumentation tasks. In addition to optical coatings, the in-house facility has state-of-the-art glass fabrication equipment, including grinding, polishing, machining, scribing, engraving, and assembly. PG&O provides quick turnaround on a large variety of glass and thin film coated optical materials, from square, rectangular, and/or circular parts, to complex shapes and all types of precision optical prisms.
