Spectroscopy platform from Anasys Instruments based on AFM

Jan. 2, 2014
The nanoIR2 infrared spectroscopy platform operates with top-side illumination, eliminating the need for a ZnSe prism.

The nanoIR2 is an infrared spectroscopy platform based on atomic force microscopy. It operates with top-side illumination, eliminating the need for a ZnSe prism and enabling measurements on a diverse set of samples. A resonance-enhanced mode allows measurements on samples < 20 nm thick. Spectra can be imported into standard FTIR databases.
