Zinc selenide (ZnSe) optics for sign-making lasers include configurations for 300–500 W metal cutting lasers and for engraving lasers with focal lengths from 2.0 to 7.5 in., in 0.5 in. increments for cutting and etching metal, plastic, or wood signs. The CO2 optics are available in 1.0- and 1.5-in.-diameter sizes, and are optimized for 10.6 µm.
