Multicavity filter from Alluxa has use in lidar for autonomous vehicles

Feb. 14, 2019
The multicavity filter improves signal-to-noise ratios in many fields, including lidar for autonomous vehicles.

A 532 nm multicavity, thin film filter has a FWHM of 0.1 nm, OD6 blocking, and provides over 80% transmission. It is made using a proprietary SIRRUS plasma deposition process. Uses include improving signal-to-noise ratios in many fields, such as lidar for autonomous vehicles, astronomy, laser-line cleanup, free-space communication, and fusion research.
