A line of larger CO2 focusing lenses for industrial steel-cutting lasers from 25 to 200 W are direct replacements for most standard OEM lenses. Two versions include one with standard A/R coatings that provide <0.2% total absorption and another featuring a proprietary “Cool-Cut” coating, which absorbs <0.15% of laser energy. Optimized for 10.6 μm, the lenses are available in plano-convex and -meniscus configurations.

CO2 LASER FOCUSING LENSES FIELD REPLACEMENTS FOR STEEL CUTTING LASERS

A line of larger CO2 focusing lenses for industrial steel cutting lasers that are stocked in a variety of sizes and focal lengths for 24-hour delivery is available from Laser Research Optics of Providence, Rhode Island.

Laser Research Optics Focusing Lenses for 25 to 200 Watt lasers are direct replacements for most standard OEM lenses. They come in two versions: one with standard A/R coatings that provide <0.2% total absorption and another featuring a proprietary Cool-Cut™ coating which absorbs <0.15% of laser energy and protects against thermal damage.

Optimized for 10.6 µm, Laser Research Optics Focusing Lenses are available in plano-convex and –meniscus configurations in 1” to 2” O.D. sizes and focal lengths from 3” to 10” in 0.5” increments. Thicknesses range from 0.250” to 0.380”. The firm also offers a mounting service.
