PRESS RELEASE

Schneider Announces New 5 Megapixel Lenses

Renowned optics manufacturer, Schneider-Kreuznach, introduces the new 5 megapixel APO-Xenoplan 1.8/35mm lens for 2/3” CMOS/CCD sensors. With its apochromatic correction and broadband coating, this lens covers a wide spectral range--ideal for luminescence applications at 1200nm.

The new lens is optimized for high-resolution applications using 5 megapixel CCD and CMOS cameras, so small pixel sizes of 3.45µ or less are easy to accommodate. Even at this range images are distinguished by their excellent contrast and sharpness.

The APO-Xenoplan 1.8/35mm, the latest in a series of versatile industry compliant lenses, is an excellent choice for pure measurement engineering, machine vision applications and medical technology. Designed for maximum endurance, its robust construction, equipped with stable screws to lock focus and iris settings, guarantee long-term stability for continuous operation.
