Sunnyvale, CA, August 2, 2004--Novalux formed a North America distribution agreement for the new Protera CDRH laser system with Edmund Industrial Optics, a leading catalog based manufacturer of optics and optical components to industry.

"Edmund Industrial Optics has an exceptional reputation for sales and a high level of customer care."

Protera CDRH is based on the patented Novalux Extended Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (NECSEL) technology and is currently available at 488 nm (5, 10, 15, and 20 mW), 532 nm (5 and 10 mW), and 460 nm (5 mW). Each model features LED status indicators, a key switch, and a safety interlock.
