A line of midwave- (MWIR) and longwave-infrared (LWIR) narrow bandpass filters combines high in-band transmittance, strong out-of-band blocking, and environmental stability. These coatings can be supplied on a wide variety of IR-transmitting substrates, including germanium, silicon, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, quartz, and sapphire, in diameters of up to 100 mm.
