Custom off-axis paraboloids offer completely achromatic performance

May 13, 2024
A line of off-axis paraboloids is available with off-axis angles as large as 45°.

Off-Axis Paraboloids (OAPs), a.k.a. off-axis parabolic mirrors, up to 600 mm diameter offer an unobstructed aperture and access to the focal plane with completely achromatic performance, suited for broadband or multiple wavelength applications. Available with off-axis angles as large as 45°, surface accuracy is up to λ/20 at 633 nm and microroughness is typically <1.2 nm RMS.
