C+L band grisms have use in optical channel monitor construction
A family of aberration-correcting, high-efficiency grisms and transmission gratings can encompass the entire extended C+L band in a single optic. With up to 97% efficiency, MLD diffraction gratings enable the curvature and spacing of every individual grating line to be separately and precisely controlled. They are suited for construction of communication channels, including WSS and optical channel monitors.
