High-volume optical manufacturing delivers up to 100,000 optics per month

Dec. 1, 2024
High-volume optical manufacturing of optical components that operate from 0.2 to 15 µm is offered.

High-volume optical manufacturing of optical components that operate from 0.2 to 15 µm is offered. A PR Hoffman 5400 double-sided polishing (DSP) machine combines with CNC machining capabilities, precision glass scribing, edging, and thin-film coating processes to deliver volume parts up to 100,000 optics per month. The DSP machine provides optimal surface integrity, dimensional accuracy, and repeatability.
