The Ultracomb-8G gallium nitride variable-fence comb generator is USB-programmable for comb amplitude, comb picket spacing, and low/high-frequency spectral weighting.

Ultracomb-8G is an 8 GHz gallium nitride (GaN) variable-fence comb generator that is USB-programmable for comb amplitude, comb picket spacing, and low/high-frequency spectral weighting. Picket spacing is from 10 MHz to 2 GHz in 0.01 Hz steps. Designed for comb modulation of laser diodes or other optical sources, it creates strings of pulses with widths from 100 to 800 ps.
