OpticStudio 21.2 and OpticsBuilder 21.2 optical design software programs feature a new structural, thermal, and optical performance (STOP) analysis module.

OpticStudio 21.2 includes a new OpticStudio Structural, Thermal, Analysis and Results (STAR) module for structural, thermal, and optical performance (STOP) analysis that streamlines workflows between finite analysis (FEA) packages and OpticStudio. Module tools can characterize and visualize the impact of structural and thermal loads on system performances. OpticsBuilder 21.2 offers Q-type asphere support and file management for optical subassemblies.
