The A-688 custom rotary stage features air bearings, a frameless, slotless torque motor, and optical encoders. Designed for optical alignment, metrology, inspection, calibration, and scanning, the direct drive unit has a ~260 mm clear aperture, 77 kg load capacity, 0.0015 µrad maximum resolution, 500 rpm max., flatness/eccentricity of <175/300 nm, and wobble <1 µrad.
