The CT-2 negative-stiffness passive isolator measures 2-1/2 inches in height, yet delivers 1/2 Hz vertical and ~1-1/2 Hz horizontal natural frequencies. The isolator does not need electricity or compressed air, and there are no motors, pumps, or chambers to maintain. When adjusted to 1/2 Hz vertical natural frequency, the isolator achieves approximately 93% isolation efficiency at 2 Hz, 99% at 5 Hz, and 99.7% at 10 Hz.
