A line of UV cell windows that fit Beckman and other centrifuges are available in sapphire and single-crystal quartz. Sapphire provides more scratch and chemical resistance for demanding environments. The windows measure 19.3 ۪.03 mm in diameter by 0.5 ۪.10 mm thick, with the projection of the optical axis scribed on the edges to aid alignment.
