The LDC-3900 Modular Laser Diode Controller system, which combines laser drive current and thermoelectric temperature control functions, includes a new module, the Model 39425. This module features a 0- to 500-mA current range, a 12-W thermoelectric cooler, low-noise performance, and laser-diode protection. As with other modules, the Model 39425 can be tested and controlled by the controller using a GPIB/IEEE-488.2 interface.
