The SUM-40 precision rotary smart motor houses a motor, driver, and high-resolution encoder in a compact NEMA 17 package. It uses both USB Type-C and RS-232 protocols for communication and power. It weighs 82 g, and has 130 μrad resolution, 100 mN-m maximum torque, and 1800°/s maximum speed with zero backlash.
