Iridian Spectral Technologies laser reflection glasses work with reflection in the high-power NIR

May 2, 2016
LaserReflect Aviator LRG13 glasses use multi-layer dielectric thin-film coatings to maximize laser reflection to mitigate the effects of laser pointer attacks on pilots.

LaserReflect Aviator LRG13 glasses use multi-layer dielectric thin-film coatings to maximize laser reflection to mitigate the effects of laser pointer attacks on pilots. They reflect >99% of commonly used green (532 nm) laser pointers with additional reflection in the high-power near-infrared (NIR; 1064 nm) band over the field of view for angles of incidence of 0° to 20°.
