Elliot Scientific has completed the acquisition of all the issued share capital of Martock Design Ltd., Martock, Somerset, England.Elliot Scientific is a major distributor of Laser, Fiber-Optic, Mechanical Components, Optics and Cryogenic products within the UK.

Elliot Scientific has completed the acquisition of all the issued share capital of Martock Design Ltd., Martock, Somerset, England.Elliot Scientific is a major distributor of Laser, Fiber-Optic, Mechanical Components, Optics and Cryogenic products within the UK.

For the last twelve years it has been responsible for the worldwide sale and distribution of all Martock Design Products, marketed under the Elliot/Martock and Elliot Scientific banner. Since 1998, Elliot Scientific has manufactured all of the Martock product range under an exclusive manufacturing agreement.

Mike Elliot, Managing Director of Elliot Scientific commented "Martock Design have a number of patented products including the XYZ flexure stage and 20nm resolution mechanical adjusters, all essential for the key technologies in fiber and device positioning. The purchase of Martock Design allows us now to own the IPR for all the products that we manufacture, over recent years we have been adding extensively to our range of Fiber Positioning, Waveguide Manipulation, Automated Fiber Alignment and O.E.M. products, this decision significantly strengthens our position in this arena."
