The SC Series is a combination of a stepper motor and an optical encoder.

The SC Series is a combination of a stepper motor and an optical encoder. The motors come in sizes 41 (Nema 17) and 60 mm (Nema 24), with holding torque of 0.5 and 3.54 Nm, respectively, and a step resolution of 1.8°. The encoder has a resolution of 4000 CPR and can reach 16,000 pulses per revolution.

New stepping motor series with a high-resolution encoder from Nanotec

Ready-to-install closed loop stepper motor solution available from stock

The new SC Series from Nanotec Electronic is an out-of-the-box combination of a stepper motor with an optical encoder. The first two motors are available in sizes 60mm (Nema 24) and 41mm Nema 17.

Stepper motors with a mounted encoder have long been available as part of the modular system from Nanotec Electronic. The new standard combination is more cost-effective than ordering the products separately and is available from stock. The motors come in sizes 41 (Nema 17) and 60 mm (Nema 24) and have a holding torque of 0.5 and 3.54 Nm, respectively, and a step resolution of 1.8°. The encoder has a high resolution of 4000 CPR, with quadrature, it can reach 16,000 pulses per revolution. A 5-V and 24-V encoder is available, each with a line driver. The motor and encoder have integrated connectors for simple and fast installation. This combination is ideal for closed loop applications with position feedback. Stepper motors with Nanotec closed loop controls operate more smoothly and have Torque, Speed and Position Control. Thus, they can be used in applications that were formerly only reserved for servo motors with gearboxes.
