Steinmeyer has announced a new high-speed precision rotary positioning stage powered by a direct drive motor. Manufactured from high strength anodized aluminum the model DT 170-TLM offers a positioning accuracy of 0.005 degrees, repeatability of +/- 0.001 degrees and speeds up to 10 rps (revolutions per second). The stage has a footprint that is 200 mm wide, 170 mm long, and 115 mm high, with a 170-mm-diameter rotating plate.
