Piezosystem Jena has expanded its P/S13 series hermetically sealed actuators to include actuators with internal preload. Their unique design allows the use of these piezos under aggressive working conditions, including wet and extremely moist surroundings. This series can even work well under cooling liquids. For example, positioning can be carried out in tool machines where chilling liquids flow directly around the actuator. Depending on the application, translators are available with a stroke from 18 to 70 µn;m. The working voltage ranges from -20V up to 130 V.

piezosystem jena, has just expanded its hermetically sealed actuators the P/S13 series. With the new additions we can offer these same high quality sealed actuators, now built with an internal preload.
Piezo-based positioning systems have a firm place in many different areas of the research, development and special applications industries. The positioning technology is unrivaled and there is no sign that this will change in the near future.
The P/S13 actuators are housed in a specific hermetically enclosed casing. This unique, design allows for the use of these piezos under aggressive working conditions. Including wet, and extremely moist surroundings.
The P/S13 series has been specifically developed for applications that call for positioning in high humidity environments. This series can even work well under cooling liquids. For example, positioning can be carried out in tool machines where chilling liquids flow directly around the actuator.
Depending on the application translators are available with a stroke from 18 µm to 70 µm. In either case the working voltage range starts at -20V up to 130 V.
These actuators are free of any mechanical play. With the M3 threaded screw whole in the base plate a simple instillation can be made into any existing set up.
