PRESS RELEASE
Customer-specific Production is Always Welcome – Numerous Large Orders Prove It!
Wide Range of Pulsed Laser Diodes from LASER COMPONENTS
LASER COMPONENTS’ high-power pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) are produced at our Canadian facility. Single emitters, multi-junction PLDs, and stacks are available at 905 nm and 1550 nm. Customer-specific designs and other wavelengths (e.g., 850 nm, 930 nm) are available upon request. Applications include rangefinding, speed measurement, laser radar, security scanners, in laser curtains, or testing and measurement systems.
With the AlGaAs structure of the 905 series you can count on extremely high reliability, the best beam properties, and temperature stability. At an efficiency of 1 W/A, the stacks achieve a peak power of 120 W at a pulse length of 150 ns. Multi-junction PLDs achieve a peak power of more than 220 W.
The 1550 nm PLDs are particularly well suited for the production of “eye-safe” rangefinders.
They are also available as single elements, multi-junction PLDs, and stacks with a peak power of up to 50 W.
High quality and an excellent cost/performance ratio have resulted in our product lines reaching the top in just seven short years. It makes us proud to hear from our customers that pulsed laser diodes “made by LASER COMPONENTS” have meanwhile become the industry standard. Having achieved such a goal has not changed our desire to continue to flexibly offer customer-specific solutions.
