Wavelength Electronics to introduce laser diode driver at SPIE Photonics West 2018

Jan. 19, 2018
The LD15-CHA laser diode driver delivers 15 A output current up to 28 V to the laser diode.

The LD15-CHA laser diode driver delivers 15 A output current up to 28 V to the laser diode. Type A and B lasers can be driven in constant current (CC) or constant power (CP) mode. Bandwidth is 280 kHz to 1 MHz for CC sinewave. CC stability is <200 ppm and CP stability is 0.026%. Three photodiode current ranges are available. Root-mean-square noise current is 35 µA with noise current density of 100 nA/√Hz and no leakage current. These drivers are ideal for material processing and industrial cutting applications using laser bars or stacks.
