LightTools Version 2.0.3 for PC and Sun platforms adds features to the illumination design and analysis software. Real data about a source`s spatial and angular luminance distribution can be used as the input for subsequent ray tracing. Immersed objects can be ray traced, allowing more accurate modeling of packaged LEDs, clad optical fibers, and fluid flow sensors. New types of scattering surfaces are included as is functionality aimed at speeding analysis of complex systems.
