Waveguide/fiber code

March 1, 1997
BeamPRO¥V. 2.0 is a CAD/simulation software package for design and simulation of optical waveguide and fiber-based optoelectronic devices. This beam-propagation-method software features the ability to perform semivector and full-vector simulations in addition to scalar calculations. The program also includes automated parameter scanning for optimization, generation of mask files in GDSII format as well as AutoCAD DXF format, and user-defined geometric tapers and index profiles.
