A new version of the Laserdyne Model 550 BeamDirector laser-machining system offers features to speed programming, setup, and part loading and unloading. The system cuts, drills, and welds 3-D parts as large as 725 mm across. There are altered Class I enclosure design and further software features to speed programming of new jobs.
