The NDL7401¥multiplequantumwell (MQW) lasers provide 3.5mW output by using an efficient lens design. Applications include passive optical networks, synchronous digital hierarchy, and cabletelevision return links. These MQW lasers operate at 40!C to 85!C without needing thermoelectric cooling. The device has a 1.3nm spectral width. The NDL7401¥is available in a variety of packages and meets Bellcore specifications.
