Zemax lens design software add-on streamlines workflow

June 20, 2016
The LensMechanix software add-on for the SolidWorks lens design environment streamlines the workflow between optical and mechanical engineers.

The LensMechanix software add-on for the SolidWorks lens design environment streamlines the workflow between optical and mechanical engineers, allowing them to package, analyze, and validate their optomechanical designs. Engineers can load OpticStudio files directly into a SolidWorks assembly, design mechanical geometry using actual optical geometry, and run ray traces to validate the optomechanical design.
