General Photonics to display polarimeter at SPIE BiOS and SPIE Photonics West 2014

Jan. 22, 2014
The POD-201 polarimeter has uses in high-speed polarization analysis and monitoring.

The POD-201 polarimeter has uses in high-speed polarization analysis and monitoring. The company's PolaView software enables real-time monitoring of state of polarization (SOP) on a Poincare sphere display or a virtual oscilloscope, and allows monitoring of several other polarization parameters. Specifications include a sampling rate of up to 2.0 MSamples/s and power sensitivity as low as -45 dBm. Two-port in-line, 1-port fiber-coupled, and 1-port remote head versions are available.
