Linear stage from Laser 2000 has integrated rotation encoder

Dec. 26, 2012
The A-LST-E series linear stage has an integrated rotation encoder that detects and automatically corrects slip and stall movements, so high loads can be moved and positioned accurately.

The A-LST-E series linear stage has an integrated rotation encoder that detects and automatically corrects slip and stall movements, so high loads can be moved and positioned accurately. The stages can be combined to multiaxis systems, and provide travel of 254, 500, 750, 1000, and 1500 mm at up to 420 mm/s.

PRESS RELEASE

The "demon for work" - the new linear stage A-LST-E series

Wessling - Integrated controller and encoder makes accurate positioning of high load easy than never before.

The A-LST-E series is the advanced T-LST series. The new advantage is the integrated rotation encoder. Because of that, slip and stall movements can be detected and automatically corrected. Thus high loads can be moved and positioned very accurate even at long travel.

These stages can easily be combined to multi-axis systems. Perfectly suitable for multiple applications and integration in applications where fast, accurate and inexpensive solutions are needed.

The stages can be used as stand-alone units or daisy chained with other stages from the A- or T- series. Easy to control via PC by the Zaber console, where you have easy-to-use buttons or can write your own script, or you can integrate it in Labview and other common programs.

Features Overview:

- 254, 500, 750, 1000 and 1500 mm of travel
- Up to 420 mm/s travel speed, 560 N thrust and a maximal load capacity of 100 kg
- integrated controller and rotation encoder
- Can be daisy chained with other stages with A- oder T- controller

The new linear stages A-LST-E series are the best solution for accurate positioning of high loads.
